MIRI: Committee members of An Naim Mosque in Lutong handed over some cash and daily essential items to fire victims yesterday.
The simple handover ceremony was held at Kampung Batu Satu in Lutong.
“This is part of An Naim Mosque’s effort to help Muslims facing hardship,” said Mohd Sabri Bojeng, An Naim Mosque chairman.
He also disclosed the mosque will be organising many online activities in conjunction with the upcoming Ramadan month.
Among those present were An Naim Mosque secretary Ithnaini Bohari and Ketua Kaum Kampung Batu Satu Yusop Sulaiman.
The fire occurred last week in the wee hours.
No one was hurt in the incident that saw all the belongings of the victims burnt.
