BINTULU: The Democratic Action Party (DAP) state deputy chairman Chiew Chin Sing said the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) government should have consulted the people before working with the Perikatan Nasional (PN) under Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

“It is obvious that the GPS government is short selling the rights of the people of Sarawak again.

“Just so that they can be in power like what their predecessors the BN had done. Personal agenda before the Sarawak agenda,” said the Bintulu DAP chairman when asked on the new cabinet lineup.

Chiew said with four full ministers and seven deputy ministers now, are they going to get back all the rights which the GPS government have been harping on when Pakatan Harapan was in power.

“Sarawakians will pay a high price again. What is worse is that the GPS government had again succumb to be with the BN kleptocracy government which they have dissociated with when they lost the PRU14,” he added.

Chiew said only this time they went even further to work with PAS, a party which is bent on establishing the Islamic State, the hudud laws in Malaysia.

“When all these when happen, secularism will be dead in Sarawak,” said Chiew.
