SIBU: Sarawak Bumiputera Teachers Union (KGBS) urges all teachers in Sarawak particularly its members to support and follow the state-level Teacher’s Day celebration from June 30 to July 3.

Its president Ahmad Malie who made this call in a statement yesterday also urged schools with internet capability to arrange a special session for teachers and staff to follow the Teacher’s Day officiating ceremony at 8.30am June 30.
“KGBS congratulates Sarawak Education Department as advisor, Kuching Education District Office (PPD) supported by PPD Padawan, PPD Bau and PPD Lundu who is the organiser and host for 49th state-level Teacher’s Day online celebration under the new normal,” he said while wishing all teachers a happy Teacher’s Day.
