“I would like to remind all the Sarawak Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) personnel not to be involved and protect illegal gambling activities.

“Stern actions will be taken on our officers and personnel who are found to be involved in any illegal activities,” he said when contacted yesterday.

Aidi was asked to comment on the alleged illegal gambling in Sungai Buloh, Selangor that went viral on social media recently.

At the same time, Aidi reminded the general public to stay away from the trap of illegal gambling.

“To the general public, please stay away from being involved in online gambling because it will bring more harm to yourself,” he added.

He appealed to the public who have information about illegal gambling to inform the police.

“If anyone of you or members of the public have any information on such illegal activities, please channel the information to the police,” he said.
