Dr Noor Hisham: New Covid-19 cases dip to 1,510 after yesterday’s spike

KUALA LUMPUR (Apr 10): Today’s daily Covid-19 cases dipped to 1,510 from yesterday’s recent high of over 1,800, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced this evening.

Selangor recorded the highest number of infections with 415 cases, followed by Sarawak at 296 and Sabah at 131.

The cumulative cases now stand at 359,117.

Eight deaths were reported today, taking the total tally to 1,321, while 198 patients have been placed in the intensive care unit with 81 patients on ventilators.

The number of Covid-19 patients discharged continues to be over the thousand mark, with 1,248 reported to have been treated from the lethal disease, the Ministry of Health reported.

The cumulative number of patients treated and discharged now stands at 342,737. — Malay Mail
