60 new Covid-19 cases in Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah recorded 60 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, with no new clusters or Covid-19 deaths.

Sabah’s official Covid-19 spokesman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said that the state capital recorded the highest number of cases with 18.

“Tawau recorded 15 cases while Penampang, Lahad Datu, Papar and Kunak recorded four cases each,” he said in a statement.

Masidi disclosed that the remaining 10 cases were recorded in Kalabakan, Kinabatangan, Putatan, Semporna, Sandakan and Keningau.

“As it stands, Sabah has nine red zones, one orange zone, nine yellow zones and and eight green zones,” he added.

A total of 101 Covid-19 patients recovered from the virus on Saturday.
