KUCHING (Oct 24): A Kuching-Samarahan Expressway roundabout near the Sarawak General Hospital Heart Centre has been partially closed until Oct 31 for repair and upgrading works.
A notice from the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak said the partial road closure will involve two sections of road at the roundabout.
JKR Sarawak reminded motorists to remain vigilant when driving on the affected route during the duration of the works and to comply with traffic management in the area for the safety of all road users.
“JKR Samarahan will inform from time to time when there’s any changes with the date, time, and areas involved in the works. Motorists are also advised to plan their journey in the affected areas.
“Motorists are reminded that the maximum speed limit along the area is only 30km/h,” said the department.
